    Industrial Lubricants Sales Representatives

    For 40 plus years, Major Brands Oil Company has been providing exceptional service and the highest quality automotive, commercial and industrial lubricants to customers throughout the Great Lakes region. Currently, we are looking to add experienced and qualified Industrial Lubricants Sales Representatives to join our team. Major Brands is looking for an individual to service and grow the Detroit Metro area, including but not limited to: Flint, Jackson, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Madison Heights, Roseville and Detroit markets. 

    The qualified candidate should be well versed in sales to the manufacturing industry, as this individual will be responsible for expanding industrial fluid sales to established customers, while also developing and growing the territory with the acquisition of new customers. This individual will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of customers. Current and target customers are comprised within various manufacturing sectors, including automotive, aerospace, government, general manufacturing, etc. Core products sold to these sectors include: industrial oils, metalworking fluids, solvents, cleaners and misc. complementary products/equipment.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of Sales experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or prior sales experience in manufacturing.
    • Self-starter who can be relied on to work independently.
    • Good written and oral communication.
    • Quantifiable and significant success in recent new business development roles.
    • Experience at both the plant floor and corporate levels.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to customer implementation.
    • Understanding of Bid packages and requirements for quotations.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated formality & organization of sales process/approach.
    • Ability to comprehend and foster customer relationships.
    • Valid driver’s license.
